Entry Recommendations:  NCEA Level 2 Dance or entry in consultation with the Curriculum Leader of Dance.

Course Outline: This programme applies knowledge and builds on NCEA Level 2 Dance.  Performance, Choreography and Perspectives of Dance will be studied in greater depth than at previous levels.

  • Advanced dance technique
  • Choreography
  • Production
  • Analysis of choreography and production technologies of a complete dance work
  • Demonstrating knowledge of dance in Aotearoa

Course Costs: Approximately $50 to cover guest tutors, stationery and performances.
