Entry Recommendations: Level 1 Achievement Standards: 91028 Tables, equations and graphs; 91032 Trigonometry; 91035 or 90136 Statistics; and 91037 or 91038 Probability, or in consultation with the Head of Faculty.

Course Outline: The course is designed for students wishing to gain Level 2 Mathematics qualifications, but not necessarily intending to study Mathematics beyond this level.  The content further develops geometry, probability and statistics.

Course Costs: Approximately $40 for workbooks and $100 for a Casio graphics calculator.

This course leads to: NCEA Level 3 Statistics, if passed at a high level.
